On Ani Difranco’s Dilate

I wrote a short essay on Ani Difranco’s 1996 record Dilate, which was commissioned, if you will, by my friend Charles Jensen, for his blog.  He emailed, asking “Can you send me some thoughts on an album you love, one you have to listen to from start to finish?”
