Today at Rick’s we sold Nicola and French fingerling potatoes, arugula (sylvetta and dragon’s tongue,) sucrine lettuce, flowering chives, chive blossoms, green garlic and baby yellow dutch shallots.  I brought home a shit ton of chive blossoms and stuffed them into mason jars of white wine vinegar, so in two weeks I’ll have the most beautiful, blushing red/purple chive vinegar that is going to taste so amazing.  People are all asking when the strawberries are arriving.  I am exciting and dreading it.

I actually have a day off tomorrow–very nearly unheard of these days–and I am going to try and finish the May issue of Crying Frodo (now that it’s June) plus put more things in the soil in back.  And take two naps.
